What did you just witness?

I bake them lovingly in gingerbread. Every murdered soul. Then lay them down, one by one, outside the Israeli Embassy in Oslo. I make costumes, banners, props. Use my body in the ritual to make sure I honour and love them fully in a way that makes sense to me, and speaks a universal language to the ones who are open to receiving it. The public displays are just a tiny part of it all. Day and night, I live and breathe them. I prepare for the next ritual while digesting the past ones, yet also staying mindfully in the present. Taking in every atrocity. And also every speck of light. My artwork reflects this. Beautiful and terrible. Playful and rough, dark to the core sometimes. Love. Love and weirdos will save us.

The project is NOT made for comfort. Not for me. Not for you. A mirror of the times, and what needs doing. I have committed to keep going until they stop killing them. For life if necessary. Even if my form of expression is not for you, my hope is that it may create awareness, a new angle. Snap you out of what happens on a screen and on paper. They are too many. It has to stop. Not at all complicated. Not any more.

Read a fuller version about the project on the project page (see top bar). On instagram is where all the footage is shared, but there are some selected videos here. Thank you for your time. And your donation if you can spare anything for a poor, unfunded burning heart. Even the smallest amount helps <3
